Job summary

St. Michael-Albertville School District Middle School West in Albertville, Minnesota, is seeking a Long Term Substitute Special Education Paraprofessional. The position supports students with disabilities under the supervision of SPED staff and the classroom teacher.

The contract runs 10/12/2026–01/04/2027, Monday–Friday, 7:55am–2:55pm (32.5 hours per week, 0.8125 FTE). Starting rate is $21.15 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with two years of post-secondary education or equivalent.
• Ability to work with staff and an educational team to provide services to students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with disabilities to meet academic, behavioral, and physical goals per IEP in individual or small group settings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information under FERPA; collaborate with teachers and bus service personnel.
