Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Minnesota Teaching License, bachelor’s degree in education, and be able to deliver district-approved reading instruction while maintaining professional communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Continued employment contingent upon licenses being maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials; provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Teaches district-approved curriculum.
• Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior.
• Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth and communicates progress to parents.
• Identifies pupil needs and develops strategies for IEPs.
• Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt curriculum.
