Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials; provides individualized and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to each pupil's needs.
• Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
• Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth; communicates progress with parents and maintains records.
• Plans and coordinates with paraprofessionals and volunteers in classroom and field trips.
