Job summary

Innovative Network of Knowledge in Karnes City, Texas seeks an Early Head Start Education Specialist to support infants and toddlers in a developmental program. You will work with families and staff to deliver developmentally appropriate activities and assessments.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of Infant/Toddler CDA within 6 months, and First Aid/CPR certification. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred and familiarity with Head Start standards is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Infant/Toddler CDA within 6 months.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Prefer 2 years of Early Head Start classroom experience; bilingual preferred.
• Knowledge of Head Start standards and child development.

Responsibilities

• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to implement meaningful curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality according to FERPA and HIPAA.
• Supervise classroom and outdoor activities.
• Document child development and coordinate services for children with special needs.
