Sunflower Park Health in Texas is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehab team serving residents with person-centered care and evidence-based therapy.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology, experience in SNF/long-term care, knowledge of Net Health, and a commitment to education for residents and caregivers while delivering AAC and safe, compliant care.

Competenze

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.

Mansioni

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Help residents achieve cognition or swallowing goals.
• Educate residents and caregivers.
• Provide skilled speech-language therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Develop and implement AAC for severe language disorders.
• Provide training to clients, families and staff as subject matter expert.
• Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered.
• Demonstrate competency in current speech therapy standards of practice.
