Job summary

Landmarkplano in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house team providing person-centered care to residents.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology, with SNF/long-term care experience preferred, and will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and educate residents and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Long-term care/SNF experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Ability to manage residents with different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Educate residents and caregivers about treatment goals.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES).
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
