Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare Long Term Care pharmacy in Utah seeks a licensed pharmacist to join the team in a part-time capacity. You will contribute to dispensing, medication safety, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced LTC setting.

The role requires active Utah licensure, with preferred LTC experience, IV/Immunization credentials, and a focus on quality patient care. Benefits include PTO, health plans, and 401K options with CVS.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in Utah in good standing.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV Certification or experience; Immunization certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare sterile IV drugs if required.
• Maintain inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Know DEA/state laws regarding controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Follow HIPAA and government regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by location.
