CVS Health, operating through Omnicare, is seeking a part-time Pharmacist at a long-term care facility in North Carolina. The role focuses on accurate order entry, pharmacy security, and adherence to delivery schedules in a non-customer-facing environment.

The position requires NC licensure, a B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD, and LTC experience is preferred. Responsibilities include IV preparation oversight, inventory for schedule II, and compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed pharmacist in North Carolina, active and in good standing.
• Preferred LTC pharmacy experience and related certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substance handling.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and verify orders.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and precision.
• Ensure correct drug packaging and labeling content.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products when required.
• Maintain perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Know DEA/state laws for controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Follow HIPAA and all state/government regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by location.
