Position Summary

Omnicare, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health Corporation. We provide a broad array of pharmacy‑related services to long‑term care facilities and other healthcare customers, with a specialty in senior care and other targeted populations.

As a pharmacist for our Long Term Care Pharmacy you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast‑paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management’s goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Apply knowledge of DEA and state law regarding controlled‑drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on business needs.
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned (vary by location).

Schedule and Hours

This part‑time position offers 29 hours per week. Schedule is based on business needs between 9 am‑7 pm, Monday‑Friday. Weekend rotation occurs every 3rd Saturday, with an on‑call rotation on Sunday.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin, active and in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Long Term Care pharmacy experience.
• Office 365 experience—adept at quick acclimation to new technology and systems.
• IV Certification or experience.
• Open to flexible scheduling.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy.

Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated weekly hours: 20. Time type: Part time. Pay range: $45.43 – $76.15 per hour.
