Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare division seeks a licensed Wisconsin pharmacist to support long-term care facilities. The role involves accurate order entry, ensuring pharmacy security, and adherence to delivery schedules within a staffed team.

You will verify technician-entered orders and oversee labeling accuracy, with potential to prepare sterile products when needed. Preferred candidates have LTC experience and be open to flexible scheduling to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on the needs of the business.
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pharmacy degree (B.S. or PharmD)
