Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is looking for a dependable Business Office Manager to oversee financial and administrative operations in a long-term care setting. You will ensure accurate billing, compliance, and smooth facility function while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong AR experience, excellent organization, and a commitment to serving elderly and disabled residents with accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable and financial processes.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient typing, 10-key entry, and computer use.
• Clear English communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Meets deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Cares genuinely for elderly and disabled individuals.
• Adheres to safety policies and respects patient rights and employee responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances.
• Process monthly private pay billing and verify payments.
• Submit Medicare and other insurance claims.
• Oversee resident trust funds and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely Medicare/HMO billing by the 5th of each month.
• Provide training and coverage for staff.
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary meetings on admissions and payer changes.
• Support general office tasks and PCC record updates.
