The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations during weekend shifts and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise staff, manage medications, and implement care plans in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs in Texas with strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills, able to stay calm in emergencies and coordinate care across teams.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to stay composed during emergencies and manage workflow
• Passionate about quality resident care and team support

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: delegate duties by census and staff availability
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans follow policy and physician orders
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe practices
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage for shortages
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, file reports
• Manage Lab Work: monitor lab orders and physician follow-up
