Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Long Term Care RN for facilities in Petoskey, MI. The role delivers patient care in Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living settings, exercising clinical judgment with supervision and coordinating care with teamwork.

The position offers a pay of $1900 per week and a 36-hour work week. Candidates must hold a current RN license for the practice state, LTC experience is preferred, and compliance with health and safety requirements is required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• LTC experience preferred.
• LTC or Assisted living certification preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care for patients in Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living facilities.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment with supervision and effective coordination of patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with critical thinking and teamwork.
• Adhere to nursing standards and accountability for patient care.

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements
