Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join as a Cook in a long-term care facility. You will prepare nutritious meals, ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following planned menus and dietary restrictions.

You will work with residents, staff, and guests, maintain a clean kitchen, assist with inventory, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
