Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare admin.
• Two years' experience in financial operations within Long Term Care.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verifies payor sources and amounts due; pays bills and collects from payor sources.
• Maintains daily census admissions/discharges; verifies insurance on new admissions.
• Follows up on past due accounts; supports efficient collection processes.
• Prepares daily bank deposits and posts deposits in the billing system.
• Participates in monthly A/R meetings and weekly Medicare meetings; monitors DSO.
• Assists with month-end close and notifies corporate office when complete.
• Maintains resident trust accounts and reconciliations; performs other duties.
