Shawnee Gardens is seeking a skilled Business Office Manager to oversee the facility's billing, AR, and payer processes. You will manage Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance workflows, monitor denials, and ensure accuracy of resident financial records.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in healthcare billing, strong collections performance, and the ability to collaborate with admissions, clinical leadership, and external payers to maintain cash flow and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of healthcare business office management experience.
• Hands-on Medicare and insurance billing experience.
• Experience with Kansas Medicaid and Care Access processes.
• Strong collections track record and ability to improve cash flow.
• Knowledge of payer requirements, eligibility verification, and billing workflows.
• Ability to reconcile open accounts and work independently with strong follow-up.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily business office operations, billing documentation, and resident financial records.
• Manage accounts receivable, follow up on open balances, and reconcile payments and adjustments.
• Monitor claim denials/rejections and coordinate timely corrections and appeals.
• Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and payer billing to ensure accurate submissions.
• Maintain knowledge of Kansas Medicaid requirements and Care Access processes.
• Prepare AR reports and communicate updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with admissions, clinical leadership, residents, families, and external payers to resolve issues.
