St. Paul Academy and Summit School seeks a Semester Leave Replacement Teacher for 3/4 Homeroom in the Lower School.

The role involves teaching 3rd and 4th graders, delivering literacy, math, and social studies, and creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in education (Master’s preferred) with demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and collaborate with a teaching partner, families, and colleagues while practicing culturally

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience teaching Lower School in grades 3/4 and literacy, math, social studies.
• Ability to create developmentally appropriate curricula and engaging classrooms.
• Commitment to cultural competence and working with diverse families and staff.
• Familiarity with Responsive Classroom, Singapore math, and literacy programs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Lower School students in Upper Elementary grades (3rd/4th).
• Cover full range of homeroom content areas: literacy, mathematics, social studies.
• Differentiate instruction and materials to meet all learners’ needs.
• Collaborate with a teaching partner, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
• Establish rapport and a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
