Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in California seeks a Tasker for the 2nd shift to plan and execute daily waves of orders, moving through the warehouse floor and coordinating inbound and outbound freight with operations.

This hands-on role requires basic Excel skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems to ensure accurate shipping, documentation, and timely updates with carriers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• 0-1 years experience in data entry and/or dispatch preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Understand and utilize system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound scheduling with operations to minimize issues.
• Generate and use system reports and audit sheets to evaluate shift progress.
• Communicate with carriers to ensure seamless transactions.
• Oversee parcel exchanges from shipping dock to carrier’s truck.
• Resolve data transmission issues with customers’ IT teams.
• Interface with IT to address system barriers and ensure shift turnover clarity.
