Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bloomington, IN is hiring for a 1st Shift Tasker. The role focuses on expediting transactions in the warehouse management system, planning waves, and supporting inbound/outbound freight.

You will spend most of your shift on the warehouse floor, moving between areas and standing/walking for extended periods. Requirements include a high school diploma, six months of warehouse experience (preferred), 0-1 years in data entry/dispatch (preferred), and basic Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• 0-1 years data entry/dispatch experience preferred.
• Basic Excel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Understand and use system screens to monitor and move workload.
• Work with operations to reduce overages, shorts and damages.
• Schedule inbound carriers and outbound shipping updates.
• Generate system reports and audit sheets to track shift progress.
• Communicate with carriers for seamless transactions.
• Oversee parcel exchanges from dock to carrier truck.
• Resolve data transmission issues with customers' IT teams.
• Interface with IT for system-related barriers.
• Ensure complete shift turnover communication.
