Job summary

InBody USA is seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager to lead local procurement, vendor management, and inventory readiness from our Carlstadt, NJ office. You will collaborate with accounting, warehouse, and HQ teams on POs and vendor relationships to ensure supply availability and minimize delays impacting sales and operations.

The ideal candidate is process-driven, communicative, and able to work independently across multiple workflows in a fast-paced startup culture.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or operations.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (Microsoft D365) and office tech.
  • Proficient in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and cost tracking.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Procure local supplies including USBs, Result Sheets, and Pallets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast needs to avoid backorders.
  • Track vendor quotes and identify cost-saving options.
  • Maintain vendor relationships for timely, quality delivery.
  • Maintain purchasing logs and shipping allocations.
  • Collaborate on PO management with accounting, warehouse, and HQ.
  • Support SOP updates for purchasing and inventory workflows.
  • Assist in quarterly-end and urgent shipment planning.

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant Manager to support and lead key operations related to local purchasing, vendor management, inventory readiness, and cross‑functional collaboration. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring supply availability and minimizing delays that impact sales and warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include end‑to‑end procurement of local supplies (USBs, Result Sheets, Pallets), including vendor sourcing, cost comparisons, inventory forecasting, and purchasing logs, while collaborating with accounting, warehouse, and HQ teams on POs and vendor relationships. It also supports logistics operations by flagging delays or pricing issues, refining SOPs, and participating in quarter‑end and urgent shipment planning.

The ideal candidate is process‑driven, communicative, and able to work independently across multiple workflows. This is a full‑time position at our office located in Carlstadt, New Jersey, reporting to our Finance Manager.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement of local supplies including USBs, Result Sheets, and Pallets
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast supply needs to avoid backorders
  • Track vendor quotes, evaluate options, and identify cost‑saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely, quality delivery
  • Collect and update purchasing logs, shipping allocations, and performance data
  • Collaborate with accounting, warehouse, and HQ procurement teams on purchasing and PO management
  • Maintain structured cost comparison tools and update every 6 months
  • Support logistics initiatives by flagging potential delays, documentation gaps, or pricing issues
  • Assist in drafting or refining SOPs for purchasing and inventory workflows
  • Participate in logistics planning during quarter‑end or urgent shipment periods
Essential Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or operations
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 or other ERP systems
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, cost tracking)
  • Comfortable communicating with internal and external teams

Bonus Qualifications
  • College degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar field
  • Previous experience working with cost analysis or vendor performance reviews
  • Bilingual Korean
  • Exposure to shipping workflows (UPS, LTL, international preferred)
