Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Workflow Planner on the 2nd shift. The role supports the flow of product from vendors to customers, coordinating picking, shipping and receiving to ensure safety and quality.

You will schedule orders, manage documentation, liaise with customer service, and supervise warehouse staff as needed, with opportunities to cover other admin duties. Competitive hourly pay with shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with materials handling and RF equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• MS Office experience (Excel/Word/Outlook) preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all inbound and outbound orders in company systems.
• Report, investigate, and correct shorts.
• Coordinate order processing across systems and personnel.
• Direct flow of vessels between yard and dock doors.
• Prioritize and monitor daily workload to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain records for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Prepare outbound paperwork.
• Collaborate closely with customer service.
• Ensure complete and accurate information is passed to the next shift.
• Maintain daily departmental attendance log.
• Enforce GMP, safety, and SOP compliance.
