FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 1st shift (Day).

The role involves data entry and administrative tasks to record inbound and outbound shipments, supporting timely and accurate processing across documentation, scheduling, reporting, and communications. Responsibilities include coordinating pick-ups, generating reports from the WMS, conducting inventory adjustment audits, and ensuring adherence to safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related data processing experience in a distribution environment.
• One year of experience in a warehouse/clerical environment using standard practices.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with RF equipment preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry in the assigned area.
• Handle administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Track monthly rack audit data.
• Track recurring MSDS in Maintenance Connection.
• Support Operations Analyst by generating custom reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform inventory adjustment audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze workload and communicate with internal departments and external transportation carriers.
• Collect, collate, and disseminate departmental data in appropriate report formats.
• Maintain office supply levels and manage interoffice mail distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
