Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Warehousing & Distribution team on a Monday to Friday schedule from 1pm to 10pm. This full-time role focuses on accurate order processing, inventory control, and timely communication with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training in logistics
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to assist and maintain a positive attitude
• Ability to understand transportation processes

Responsibilities

• Input daily customer orders and distribution accounts
• Provide daily operational reports in a timely manner
• Process paperwork for work orders and inventory records
• Data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping and inventory management
• Rate domestic transportation bills
• Trace orders and notify customers of activity
• Ensure accurate client and vendor billing
• Maintain damage records and backorder logs
• Provide documents and information to warehouse staff for receiving and shipping
• Liaise between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing and credit information
• Maintain relationships with vendors (trucking companies, etc.)
• Support miscellaneous projects, filing and research
• Ensure compliance with OPS and external regulations
• Escalate problems to management when necessary
