CBRE HV is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Michigan to support shipping and receiving tasks within the supply chain. You’ll prepare documents, pack and label items, and coordinate cost-effective shipments.

You will verify outgoing shipments, record data on weight, charges, and packaging, and liaise with carriers and internal teams to keep projects on time and budget.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content concisely and logically.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced organizational and mathematical skills (percentages, discounts, markups).

Mansioni

• Prepare documents and shipping orders; pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using cost-effective methods.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting and record-keeping.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping and issue delivery instructions.
• Requisition and store shipping materials; maintain inventory and records of stock and handling equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, engineers, designers, PMs, sales, shipping, receiving and shop teams to ensure on-time, on-budget projects.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems; may recommend new techniques.
• Impact own team and related teams; suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
