Job summary

PepsiCo Logistics, Distribution & Transportation (LD&T) Coordinator seeks a proactive coordinator to oversee transportation operations and supervise a team of drivers. You will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries to PepsiCo distribution centers while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

You will lead improvement initiatives, partner with carriers, and own financial forecasting for transportation costs, collaborating across internal teams to drive service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in administration, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred.
• Excel experience required.
• Experience with DPS and/or SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) preferred.
• Availability to work Saturday-Monday plus a rotating Tuesday night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily production of the Bid Board and the awarding of runs to Drivers.
• Review Driver DOT trip reports and create/edit reports.
• Monitor DOT Hours of Service and available hours for Drivers.
• Communicate dispatch instructions to Drivers and manage changes.
• Coordinate with DC Leads on appointments and trailer requirements.
• Instruct lease Drivers as needed.
• Coordinate Florida Doubles operation and Networking Hub with Traffic Drivers.
• Ensure all inbound and outbound loads are delivered on time.
• Communicate with Warehouse Leads on load status.
• Maintain trailer and tractor inventory and perform other duties as assigned.
