Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Logistics, Distribution & Transportation (LD&T) Coordinator in Orlando, FL to lead transportation operations and supervise a team of drivers. You will ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries to distribution centers while complying with DOT regulations and PepsiCo safety standards.

You will interface with dedicated carriers, lead improvement initiatives, support performance goals, and own forecasting and analysis for transportation costs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in administration, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred.
• Excel experience required.
• Experience with DPS and/or SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) preferred.
• Availability to work Saturday-Monday plus a rotating Tuesday night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Daily production of the Bid Board and awarding runs to Drivers.
• Review Driver DOT trip reports and edit/create reports.
• Monitor Driver DOT Hours of Service and available hours.
• Communicate with Drivers on Dispatch instructions and changes.
• Coordinate with DC Leads appointments and trailer requirements.
• Coordinate and instruct lease Drivers as needed.
• Coordinate the Florida Doubles operation and Networking Hub with Traffic Drivers.
• Daily communication with Drivers to review service needs and requirements.
• Ensure all inbound and outbound loads are delivered on time.
• Communicate with Warehouse Leads on load status.
• Maintain consistent and effective email and telephone communications.
• Track and maintain trailer and tractor inventory.
