The role focuses on maximizing truck capacity, scheduling shipments, coordinating carriers, and tracking chassis use to avoid detention and demurrage.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience handling traffic, documentation, and customer service for ocean transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; Spanish helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure daily truck capacity to support reliable customer service while maintaining margins.
• Develop and maintain daily shipment schedules optimizing routes and loads to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments for timely, accurate deliveries.
• Organize and schedule transportation including booking carriers, assigning routes, and managing delivery timelines.
• Track and manage chassis usage, container days, and timely returns to avoid detention and demurrage fees.
