Job summary

Burnett Specialists is seeking a Traffic Clerk for a distribution center in east El Paso. You will dispatch inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate carrier pickups, and manage trailer yard activities while ensuring accurate inventory and regulatory compliance. Strong English/Spanish communication is preferred.

The role requires 3–5 years in traffic/shipping with HS Diploma or GED; automotive experience is a plus. Proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook and daily reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years' experience in traffic, shipping, cartage and distribution.
• Mexican Operations experience preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch inbound/outbound finished goods and raw materials.
• Support trailer movements and schedule carriers.
• Monitor and maintain trailer inventory fleet.
• Issue daily shipments and manage trailer contents inventory.
• Coordinate with MX Customs/Traffic, Logistics and ECSC Customs.
• Follow up schedules with vendors and local pickups.
• Provide empty trailers and track deliveries to planners.
• Maintain CTPAT compliance.
• Communicate with US Customs, carriers, HR, Security and Logistics.
