Job summary

Milestone Technologies in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a LOCAL IT Logistics Technician for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on shipping/receiving, deploying IT equipment, inventory management, and providing white-glove service to staff, primarily supporting deployment teams onsite.

You will work 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, onsite, with occasional offset hours and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Contract length: 6 months

Location: Pleasanton, CA. Onsite Daily - Mon - Friday 8am - 5pm

Milestone Technologies is looking for a technician to work with our logistics team. This position will primarily be in an office environment. The position entails; shipping and receiving, deployment of IT related materials, inventory management, and white glove customer service. This person will primarily support the deployment team, though will also be cross trained in other department responsibilities as needed and able.

Required Skills

• We require someone with a general idea about Technology and excellent customer service, able to speak with employees on how to set up their phones and desk equipment.
• Available to work 40 hours/5 days per week with offset hours
• Ability to move/lift at least 25 lbs.

Duties might include:

• Receive and process equipment from supplier sites; deliver those shipments to stock rooms and local help desks
• Complete data entry in inventory management systems and verifying accuracy of requests; matching quantities and types
• Prepare shipments including creation of labels, removing any invalid stickers, and organizing packaging to ensure safe delivery of materials
• Take part in inventory counts
• Conduct deployment services, encompassing desk setup and desk side support Restock and troubleshoot IT accessory vending machines around the office(s)
