Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift start-up, fulfill customer demands and coordinate people and materials. This role oversees finished goods production, ensuring safety, quality and cost standards are met.

The schedule is from 5:00 am to 4:30 pm, with responsibilities spanning daily production planning, process improvements and cross-functional collaboration. Required are a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in food production supervision, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or food manufacturing equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to translate complex tasks into actionable items.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise direct reports through coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret the daily manufacturing schedule.
• Understand food processing, sanitation, safety and cost savings development.
• Ensure continual process improvement.
• Ensure completion of the daily production schedule.
• Support launching of new products and processes.
• Maintain a standard of performance for the manufacturing team.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally across the organization.
• Support new product initiatives with adequate resources.
