Job summary

Resonant is seeking an Associate - Shipping and Receiving / Logistics Support to ensure high quality packaging, shipping and receiving services, and to provide courier services as needed. The role includes archiving duties and requires a team-focused, detail-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate has logistics/shipping experience, is able to follow SOPs, and can lift up to 75 pounds while maintaining safe operations in a warehouse/archiving environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis and operate equipment such as a forklift.
• General understanding of PPE and MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of work and compliance with US and OECD regulations and SOPs.
• Learn Chemical Safety and use of safety equipment.
• Understand SOPs and equipment related to duties.
• Understand Quality Control procedures and perform accordingly.
• Conduct courier services.
• Keep vehicle logs and driving records up to date.
• Package and ship materials per regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines.
• Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products and proper documentation.
• Place incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations.
• Preserve quality and integrity during loading/unloading.
• Promote inventory accuracy and assist with inventory movements.
• Maintain safe Receiving/Warehouse areas.
• Maintain knowledge of Archives SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Mission

The Associate - Shipping and Receiving /Logistics Support is responsible for ensuring high quality packaging, shipping and receiving services, as well as providing courier services as necessary. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of archiving duties. We are looking for a strong team player, ideally with some logistics/shipping experience who is detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of our work and how it must be completed in compliance with applicable US and OECD regulations and our Standard Operating Procedures
• Develop an understanding of Chemical Safety and the proper use of safety equipment
• Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and equipment associated with their duties
• Understand the significance of Quality Control procedures and perform their work accordingly
• Conduct courier services
• Ensure vehicle logs and driving records are present and up to date
• Complete packaging and ship material following the regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines
• Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained
• Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations
• Preserve the quality and integrity of materials while loading and unloading activities occur
• Promote the importance of inventory accuracy and aid all other coworkers in all inventory movements as necessary
• Ensure Receiving/Warehouse areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times
• Maintain knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Archives
• Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisory personnel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of warehouse, logistics, shipping, and receiving operations, including inventory control and documentation practices; prior experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety requirements, PPE requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines, including DOT shipping requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer/data-entry systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles as required.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed in warehouse, archive, and loading dock environments, including climate-controlled and outdoor-adjacent areas.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the workday, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Regular use of warehouse equipment, packaging tools, and company vehicles for courier activities.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, hazardous materials, and regulated shipments requiring adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
• Fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads, operational priorities, and shipping/receiving volumes.
• All work must be performed in compliance with company safety policies, applicable regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
