Job summary

Resonant Clinical in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Associate – Shipping and Receiving /Logistics Support to execute high quality packaging, shipping and receiving while performing archival duties. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate records.

You will develop familiarity with SOPs, safety protocols, and inventory control, and you will handle courier tasks, vehicle logs, and staging of materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, safety requirements and PPE rules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Experience with warehouse, shipping and receiving operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute packaging, shipping and receiving duties in compliance with SOPs.
  • Conduct courier services and maintain vehicle logs.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and proper staging of materials.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness and organization of Receiving/Warehouse areas.
  • Archive duties as assigned and support regulatory/compliance needs.

This role will be responsible for performing a variety of archiving duties. We are looking for a strong team player, ideally with some logistics/shipping experience who is detail oriented.**Key Responsibilities:** ● Develop an understanding of our work and how it must be completed in compliance with applicable US and OECD regulations and our Standard Operating Procedures ● Develop an understanding of Chemical Safety and the proper use of safety equipment ● Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and equipment associated with their duties ● Understand the significance of Quality Control procedures and perform their work accordingly ● Conduct courier services ● Ensure vehicle logs and driving records are present and up to date ● Complete packaging and ship material following the regulatory requirements and transportation guidelines ● Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are introduced into our system, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained ● Place all incoming and outgoing materials in appropriate staging and storage locations ● Preserve the quality and integrity of materials while loading and unloading activities occur ● Promote the importance of inventory accuracy and aid all other coworkers in all inventory movements as necessary ● Ensure Receiving/Warehouse areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times ● Maintain knowledge of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Archives ● Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate supervisory personnel**QUALIFICATIONS*** **High school graduate** (or equivalent)* Able to follow **written and/or verbal instructions*** Capable of producing **quality work*** Excellent **oral and written communication skills*** Ability to use **Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)*** Ability to **lift 75 pounds** on a regular basis and operate equipment associated with a warehouse / archive (**forklift**, etc.)* General understanding of **PPE and MSDS****KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES*** Working knowledge of warehouse, logistics, shipping, and receiving operations, including inventory control and documentation practices; prior experience preferred.* Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy.* Ability to follow SOPs, safety requirements, PPE requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines, including DOT shipping requirements.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer/data-entry systems.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.* Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles as required.**ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS*** Work is performed in warehouse, archive, and loading dock environments, including climate-controlled and outdoor-adjacent areas.* Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the workday, including lifting up to 75 pounds.* Regular use of warehouse equipment, packaging tools, and company vehicles for courier activities.* Exposure to varying temperatures, chemicals, hazardous materials, and regulated shipments requiring adherence to PPE and safety protocols.* Fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads, operational priorities, and shipping/receiving volumes.* All work must be performed in compliance with company safety policies, applicable regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).**What We Offer**At Resonant, we’re more than a leading life sciences company, we’re a global team united by a shared purpose: the uncompromising pursuit of quality to help our customers move science forward.When you join us, you become part of a growing global community of more than 850 dedicated professionals.
