TransMedics has initiated a national program for organ retrieval and organ management to increase donor organ utilization for transplant using the Organ Care System (OCS) platform and our Transplant Logistics Command Center.

Job Description

TransMedics' Transplant Logistics team leads all aspects of transplant logistics, supporting the growth of the National OCS Program (NOP). The team handles data analytics, network design, capacity planning, product management, and daily air and ground logistics operations via a 24/7 central command center. The Logistics Support Coordinator assists team members before, during, and after missions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Arranges logistics for NOP teams, including flights, ground transportation, rental cars, and hotel accommodations.
2. Plans pick-up/drop-off schedules with ground transportation specialists, ensuring timely and efficient transport; communicates itineraries clearly.
3. Assists NOP teams with requests, issues, or concerns during missions.
4. Maintains accurate records of reservations and airline credits.
5. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
6. This full-time position is based at our Andover, MA Logistics Call Center, working approximately 15 night shifts per month on a 4-on, 3-off, 3-on, 4-off schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
7. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Background and Qualifications

1. 3-5 years’ experience in customer service, travel, or logistics.
2. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects calmly.
3. Strong analytical skills with sound decision-making.
4. Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
5. Team-oriented, willing to assist others.

Education

Associate degree plus 3 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
