Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation and customs processes and provide customer service for shipments and documentation.
• Supervise department activities; conduct staff meetings; address performance issues per policies.
• Review shipment documentation for accuracy; ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations.
• Compute duties, tariffs, and value for shipments and coordinate with customs officials as needed.
• Establish and monitor policies for customs clearance operations and service standards.
• Identify process improvement areas through audits and client reviews.
• Coordinate with operations manager and maintain after-hours on-call rotation.
• Lead department projects within your area of responsibility.
