Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Clayton, IN is seeking a dedicated Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Logistics Department. You will train staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accurate document processing for inbound consolidations with a focus on cost-efficiency and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years related experience with at least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide control oversight for all department activities; train staff and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Develop and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Set up files for all documents and records related to consolidations.
• Receive, review and process inbound documentation; provide quotations as requested; update customer profiles in the system.
• Manage pre-alerts daily; coordinate with carriers and notify customers of status; ensure timely document delivery to the branch.
