Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Mid Shift Warehouse Lead to manage a team on the 11:00am–7:00pm shift at 2301 Reeves Rd. You will assign daily work, ensure safety, oversee loading/unloading, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse experience, forklift certification if required, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• One to two years industry related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead to distribute work assignments and daily activities to team members. Promote safe work practices. Follow and ensure quality standards are adhered to. Post the performance numbers for area.
• Oversee loading and unloading of products.
• Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools equipment, and products within assigned area.
• Comply with legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
• Ensure proper labelling, tagging and packing of goods and materials in assigned area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets / shelves, move orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or similar manual hand tools.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
