Job summary

Ryder in Maryland Heights, MO is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement. The role partners with the Logistics Manager to schedule work and ensure service standards are met.

You will lead a diverse team, monitor performance against KPIs, promote safety and inclusion, and support solutions for operational efficiency. This is a salaried position with comprehensive benefits within a Fortune 500 logistics organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required
• H.S. diploma/GED required

Responsibilities

• Supervise day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet standards.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift/logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Regularly meet with team members to monitor progress and coach.
• Promote diversity and inclusion while improving internal processes.
• Perform performance evaluations and address issues per policy.
• Understand labor relations and safety initiatives; ensure policy adherence.
