Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily inbound and outbound logistics at the Pelzer campus. You will direct transportation planning, carrier coordination, and shipment execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration with Warehouse, Materials, Planning and Production, and a drive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or manufacturing.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound transportation operations.
• Ability to coordinate carriers and high-volume shipping.
• Proficient with ERP/WMS/TMS and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound and outbound logistics activities for the Pelzer operation.
• Manage transportation planning, carrier scheduling, and shipment execution.
• Ensure shipping aligns with production and customer requirements.
• Coach and develop the logistics team and maintain standard work.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in cost, service, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
