Job summary

Cascades is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily logistics, warehousing, and material handling at our Pryor facility. You will supervise teams, schedule staff, and ensure inventory accuracy while collaborating across Production, Customer Service, and Operations.

The role emphasizes safe practices, problem-solving, and opportunities to implement efficiency improvements. 2–5 years of related experience preferred; manufacturing background a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of logistics, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily logistics, shipping, warehousing, and material handling to support operational efficiency.
• Supervise Logistics Coordinators, Shippers, and material handling staff, provide coaching and performance management.
• Manage employee scheduling, time & attendance, and workplace accountability.
• Ensure production lines are clear of debris and baled materials are processed and removed timely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and real-time transactions.
• Oversee cycle count activities and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, and Operations to address shipping priorities, inventory issues, and delays.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Your Role

As Logistics Supervisor, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:

• Direct daily logistics, shipping, warehousing, and material handling activities to support operational efficiency.
• Supervise Logistics Coordinators, Shippers, and material handling personnel, providing coaching, direction, and performance management.
• Manage employee scheduling, time and attendance, and workplace accountability.
• Ensure production lines remain clear of debris and that baled materials are processed and removed in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are completed correctly and in real time.
• Oversee cycle count activities and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, and Operations teams to address shipping priorities, inventory issues, and production delays.
• Enforce company safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material flow.

What you bring

• Minimum of 2–5 years of logistics, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow processes.
• Proven experience managing employee performance, attendance, and accountability.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; paper industry experience is not required.
