Job summary

Murray Resources Houston is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a fast-growing manufacturing company. You will lead warehouse and distribution operations, coordinate S&OP, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.

You will manage procurement, inventory, and ERP transactions, coaches the team, and ensures safety and policy compliance. Spanish language skills are required; SAP experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or procurement in manufacturing.
• 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• End-to-end supply chain experience incl. S&OP, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• Spanish language required.
• SAP experience required; strong leadership and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the S&OP process aligning demand, supply, and production capacity.
• Oversee procurement activities ensuring timely sourcing and cost efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Supervise warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch.
• Coordinate distribution and logistics for on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover.
• Ensure inventory records and ERP transactions.
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Finance for alignment.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company policy compliance.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team.
• Promote cost control and proper use of resources.
• Report deviations and risks to management promptly.

This is an opportunity to lead warehouse and distribution operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, coordinating distribution and logistics, and leading, coaching, and developing the supply chain team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant supply chain experience will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement within industrial or manufacturing environments
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including S&OP, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution
• Experience working in fast-paced or high-demand operational environments
• Spanish - required
