Job summary

Marathon Petroleum in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a Project Engineer in Logistics & Storage Engineering to manage a portfolio of diverse projects through the MPMP phases, from conceptualization to start-up. You will collaborate across departments to vet estimates, schedules, and safety impacts, and prepare bid requests while upholding strong safety standards.

The role requires 0–3 years of related experience, ABET-accredited engineering degrees, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (December 2026 or May 2027 graduate).
Zero to three years of related experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of projects through the MPMP phases: Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation, Start-up/Close-out.
Collaborate with affected departments to vet resource estimates, schedules, and safety impacts.
Prepare bid requests and evaluate proposals on engineering and business principles.
Support multiple projects concurrently from conception to commissioning and start-up.
Act as a safety leader and uphold core values while supporting energy isolation procedures.
