Job summary

HTL is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for the second shift in Charlotte, NC. This role manages daily shipment execution across LTL and FTL, ensuring on-time delivery, SLA compliance, and high-quality customer service.

You will coordinate shipments, quote rates, and enter data into the TMS, while maintaining rigorous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Operations, Freight Services, and requires US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LTL and FTL shipments from quote to delivery, ensuring every load is covered with the right carrier, equipment, and service level.
• Build and deliver competitive rate quotes aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
• Enter and manage shipment data in our TMS with accuracy and speed.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including pre-claim materials.
• Track and trace shipments, proactively communicating updates and resolving issues before they escape.
• Partner with internal teams and customers to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience.
• Provide reliable afternoon and evening coverage as shipments move through pickup, transit, and delivery.

Role Overview

HTL is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team, working the second shift. The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping shipments moving with precision, speed, and accountability. This is a role for someone who thrives in the details, communicates clearly, and takes ownership from pickup to delivery. As an individual contributor, the Logistics Coordinator manages daily shipment execution across both FTL and LTL modes, ensuring on-time delivery, SLA compliance, and strong customer service.

This second-shift role provides critical afternoon and evening coverage, helping ensure customers and shipments are supported throughout the transportation day.

This position will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina, reporting to the Director of Operations, Freight Services.

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
