Job summary

TLD Logistics Services, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Brokerage Logistics Coordinator to monitor pickups and deliveries, provide updates and rate quotes, and support our Brokerage Division.

This 2nd shift (16:00–23:59, Monday–Friday) role emphasizes problem solving, carrier and customer communication, and timely tracking in our Transportation Management System to ensure on-time shipments. Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics/transportation preferred.
• Strong phone communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to track and trace shipments accurately.
• Good geographical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pickups and deliveries and update customers with status.
• Provide rate quotes and quotes to customers as needed.
• Problem solve transportation issues that arise during transit.
• Communicate with carriers and customers professionally.
• Build orders and support shipping documentation.
• Lead in using the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Maintain timely tracking and tracing for time-sensitive shipments.

2nd Shift Schedule: 16:00 – 23:59 Monday – Friday

Pay Based on Experience: $21.63/hr – $25/hr

TLD, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, is hiring a Brokerage Logistics Coordinator to provide strategic logistics support to our Brokerage Division. The role will monitor pickups and deliveries as well as providing updates and rate quotes to customers.

The core responsibilities include problem solving, communicating with carriers and customers, tracking and tracing orders in our transportation management system, order building, shipping documentation support and quoting customers. This position will be responsible for:

• Professional discourse over the phone
• Provide timely tracking and tracing
• Rely on sense of urgency around time sensitive shipments
• Resolve transportation issues that occur during transit of goods
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Detail oriented
• Organizational, verbal, and written skills
• Multitask between various forms of communication (email, phone, text, IM)
• Experience in logistics/transportation (preferred)
