Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a warehouse associate at our Fishers location to support requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and related projects. You will help ensure orders are filled timely and accurately and verify products by description, item number, and quantity.

The role requires handling damaged or expired items, performing cycle counts and physical inventories, and coordinating delivery of products, equipment, mail, and linen.

Qualifications

• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling is preferred.
• Ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment; may need Material Handling Safety Training within 30 days of hire.
• Long periods of standing and walking (up to 6+ hours per day) and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs floor-to-waist, 20 lbs waist-to-overhead, 25 lbs carried).

• Effectively utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to document all ordering, filling, stocking, tagging, and registering activity.
• This position may require on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
• This position may require operating a company vehicle.

• Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
• Requires the continuous ability to: lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head; carry up to 25 lbs.
