Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support our government customer in San Antonio, Texas. You will oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, manage shipments, and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with DoD standards.

You will coordinate with vendors, customers, and government personnel, perform material handling tasks, and use DoD systems to track property and supplies while upholding safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.01-M certification required.
• OPSEC Level I Awareness within 30 days of start.
• DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to access and annually thereafter.
• Compliance with DoD directives 8570.1 and 8570.01-M within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Provide customer support to staff and establish effective working relationships.
• Process shipments and maintain associated documentation; verify packing slips and quantities.
• Coordinate distribution of incoming supplies and equipment with customers and government personnel.
• Utilize DoD systems (e.g., DMLSS) to track property and medical supplies.
• Assist with shipping/receiving accounts and annual inventory turn-in procedures.
