Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support DoD operations at the Kahului Logistics Center on Maui. You will manage shipping, receiving and tracking of equipment, maintain DPAS records, and coordinate inventory control across multiple sites.

The role requires a minimum of one year in logistics, certification in DPAS/HAZWOPER/IATA-DOT and proficiency with MS Office; in return, you’ll join a team dedicated to mission readiness, asset visibility and timely support

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of logistics, inventory management, or property administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to write daily correspondence to government customers and follow directions.
• Ability to train all-site staff on Haz Waste communications and IAP protocol.

Responsibilities

• Serve as alternative Base Equipment Control Officer and maintain DPAS property records.
• Create and maintain item cataloguing for L&P stock-numbers using DPAS Site ID DF-RDTE.
• Maintain custodial equipment jackets and reconcile equipment records with CIRs.
• Plan monthly Floor to Book inventories and input updates to DPAS.
• Coordinate shipments, verify packaging/delivery, and establish transport controls.
• Provide 24-hour emergency contact on shipment declarations for hazardous material.
