Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support a DoD mission from Maui, Hawai'i. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, cataloging assets, and DPAS duty station management at the Kahului Logistics Center.

Responsibilities include maintaining DPAS records, conducting inventories, IT asset management, and coordinating shipments with Port of Honolulu and JBPHH agencies. Qualifications cover DPAS, HACZWOPER, certifications, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field is required.
• DPAS certification and hazardous materials handling training are required or preferred.
• Multiple certifications listed are preferred for asset control and DoD logistics.
• Experience with DoD supply processes and DPAS records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate property records in DPAS Site IDs and process transactions within seven workdays.
• Create item cataloguing using DPAS tools to assign Federal Stock Class correctly.
• Reconcile equipment records and assist custodians with asset tracking and CIRs.
• Plan and execute monthly Floor to Book inventories across sites and input updates.
• Serve as IT Asset Manager when needed and support logistics operations for DoD missions.
• Coordinate non-MILSTRIP shipments and manage packaging documentation and labeling requirements.
• Provide training on roles, responsibilities, and Haz Waste procedures to staff.
