Job summary

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions in North America. RXO seeks a Logistics Specialist to support order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination.

You will maintain profiles, monitor loads, and communicate with drivers, customers, and account managers to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries. A year of logistics experience is required, with HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense to instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on status.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrived on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers; validate load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, damages; complete appropriate documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept/decline loads per account managers.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers.
