AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to our services. We work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and seek talented individuals to join us.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and more. Your role involves maintaining the onsite parts room in AWS Data Centers, managing the lifecycle of computer hardware, including receiving, storing, delivering, cycle counting, and shipping faulty hardware back to vendors.
You will collaborate with Data Centre Operations and Engineering teams to ensure reliable functioning and repair activities, adhering to safety, security, and availability standards.
This hands-on role involves physical handling of spare parts, stock replenishment, and cycle counting. Some travel between sites and after-hours work may be required.
