The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS must represent TireHub professionally, maintain safe driving practices, deliver excellent customer service, and foster strong customer relationships.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day shift hours.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Distribute tasks related to:
· General warehousing
· Delivery services
· Vehicle maintenance
Adjustments to these tasks may be made as business needs evolve.
- Load, unload, inspect, and count tires for transport vehicles.
- Follow safety standards in packing, labeling, and storing orders.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely.
- Participate in inventory counts and labeling procedures.
- Handle payments for Cash on Delivery transactions.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Ensure compliance with TireHub policies and participate in ongoing training.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Core Skills: Continuous process improvement, managing ambiguity, driving results, collaboration, effective communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years driving history.
- Must be 19 years or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance.
- Capable of bending, twisting, and lifting frequently.
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Work at heights up to 35 feet and operate forklifts for up to 8 hours.
- Follow traffic laws and drive TireHub vehicles safely.
- Work independently and in teams.
- Familiarity with GPS, Manifest systems, and maintaining forklift certification.
Working Conditions:
- Physical effort required to lift/move tires, stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
- Potential handling of hazardous materials with protective gear.
- Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Operate in warehouses and customer locations, sometimes in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Extended hours, including nights and weekends, with possible short notice.
- Night driving and adverse weather conditions may be required.
- Physical size limitations: not exceeding 400 lbs. weight or 6'3" height, to ensure safety and compatibility with equipment. Accommodations reviewed per ADA and laws.

Education
